Before your surgery, it is important to follow all instructions provided by Desert Oral Surgery and your surgical team.

Eating and Drinking Before Anesthesia

Do not eat or drink anything before your scheduled surgery unless specifically instructed by your surgical team.

Following fasting instructions is important for your safety during anesthesia.

Medications

Please inform our office about all medications, supplements, and medical conditions before your procedure.

Your surgical team will provide instructions regarding which medications should be taken before surgery and which may need to be adjusted.

Transportation After Surgery

Patients receiving anesthesia must arrange for a responsible adult to drive them home after their procedure.

Patients should not drive, operate machinery, or make important decisions immediately following anesthesia.
